Description

The aim of the Hanover Parking app is to optimize or avoid people looking for a parking space in Hanover.

We present the various parking options in and around Hanover and provide you with information on:
- Parking garages
- Area parking and
- Park + Ride.

The basic map is usually centered on the parking availability in downtown Hanover. You can see the parking facilities and, if available, current occupancy information, such as e.g. B. the available parking spaces in multi-storey car parks. You can move or zoom the map with the classic controls. Get detailed information about the parking facilities
You make a selection using the touch function on the map or by making a selection in the car park list.
With the one-field search in the upper part of the app, you can select your desired destination. If you select the "Route" button, you will be shown three different options. The "P+R route" shows you the way using Park+Ride areas. The “Car Park Route” gives you one
Path to a parking garage near the destination. The "Parking Route" provides you with a route to a parking space in the street space near the destination.
We would like to offer you a comparison of different routes to your destination, including the time required and the costs involved. For example, Park+Ride offers the possibility of leaving the car on the outskirts and using public transport to the city center, which can be a convenient, cheap and environmentally friendly option.
In addition to this functionality, the app offers many other useful functions, such as creating favourites, the parking garage list and the Car Finder, with which you can find your vehicle at the end of the parking process.
Please note that this is an offer from the city of Hanover and not a competition for commercial navigation apps. The focus is on first-hand information about the parking space.
