Good Friday is celebrated on the Friday before Easter which is the day on which Christians annually celebrate the anniversary of the Crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ at Golgotha. Since the beginning of Christianity, Good Friday has been interpreted as a day of sorrow, atonement, and holiness.

Good Friday is known as Good Friday. The day Jesus Christ died is not clearly recorded in the Bible. Some expect it to fall on Wednesday, but more are putting it off on Friday.
