Quality Experts in Care (QEC) is an online platform for connecting with professionals from across the world with specific expertise in the area of quality and patient safety. Experts include clinical and non-clinical professionals from all areas of the health and social care sector including Acute Care, Specialist Care, Mental Health, Hospice Care, Aged Care (residential and domiciliary), Disability Services (residential and domiciliary), Clinical Laboratories and Primary Care. Experts registering on the site may be interested in new opportunities in relation to quality and patient safety, e.g. discrete contracts for patient safety incident review/investigation/inquest, complaint investigation, care governance review, clinical audit, expert witness; recruitment to new quality and patient safety positions; conference presentations; research and development.

Members have access to a news streaming service providing high quality content on the latest developments in quality and patient safety from a range of international sources. Members may also contribute articles or promote opportunities via the Newsfeed.

• How Does It Work?
Professionals with a background in the healthcare sector, either clinical or non-clinical, with an interest and expertise in any area of quality and patient safety may register on the site and create a profile. All members may use the platform to connect with other experts, using the in-app shortlisting and chat facilities.

Quality Experts in Care is committed to supporting excellence in health and social care, through the facilitation of the highest quality investigation and learning from clinical and care management events. Access to the app is offered free of charge.
