Description

Oribooklet is a tool for the Orienteering Mapper. The application brings together the GPS, a booklet, the pencil and a rubber of who will map in a lightweight and very easy to use app. With it, the mapper can produce the field of play faster.

As a bonus, the field work is saved directly in .gpx format, making it easier and less error-free when (on home comforts) such information is read by the CAD used to draw the map.

The elements of an orientation map can be divided into 3 types: Waypoints, Trackways and Area. The application identifies a choice of the first two automatically and asks the mapper to decide on the third.

The routine is very simple:
- Walk to the element you want to map, choosing it at the bottom of the screen, from the groups Land, Rocks, Water, Vegetation, Man Made and Controls;
- If necessary, the mapper notes other information about the element in the Description;
- Then, press LOAD to load as above information, the element and a description (if any);
- The IOF code is displayed. If one of the first two types, WAYPOINT or TRACKWAY, its respective button becomes on. If it is Area of the two lights, asking for a decision;
- When the mapper wants to register the element, simply press the SAVE button. If it is a Trackway type, it walks to the end, when it is necessary to push SAVE, closing the trackway.

There are also Preferences functions, in which the mapper sets up her/his personal choices, a Save function thats saves the field work in .gpx format to file, a About with Licenses and a Pay a Rollcake to pay the autor a desert as a grant for his job.
