Description

Shelf-Life is a unique app that provides food scientists and technicians alike with a number of utilities that enable them to easily:

1. Identify additives associated with different food types and their permissible levels according to the Codex Alimentarius
2. Identify Acidity and Water Activity of a number of food products based on FDA standards
3. Evaluate the impact of Acidity and Water Activity on food safety according to FDA standards
4. Calculate the Accelerated Aging Time Duration (AATD) of food product packaging to simulate the effects of real-time ageing
