EcoVision: Waste Segregation S

Description

One of the easiest ways to help the environment today is by segregating household waste into separate bins (biodegradable, non degradable and hazardous/toxic) so that some of it can be composted, some of it can be recycled and the rest safely disposed. Despite the environmental benefits and ease of waste segregation, most people would dump their waste into whatever bin they see fit. This is because most people find it difficult to think, classify and identify the waste they have.

This app solves this problem by doing the identification and classification digitally using the power of IBM Watson's visual recognition service, allowing users to easily take photos of waste with their phone camera and send it to Watson for classification.
