Frapple

Description

Frapple is a barcode scanner that provides info on allergen content in snacks in Western Balkan region. If a selected allergen is present in the scanned food item, the app provides a clearly visible warning on the screen associated with a red color. If the selected allergen is absent, the scanned product will be described in the green-colored text. The application also works without scanning a product, just for filtering the products present in the database by a selected allergen(s).
The use of our application users is eased by requiring a stable internet connection only for downloading the application and updating the database, but not for the basic use of the application.
