Digital media offer many possibilities to present complex topics in a simple and understandable way. The urban area in particular is ideal for GPS-controlled educational tours to work on a wide variety of topics in a way that is close to the real world. Here you can experience the interplay of ecological, economic and social causes and effects directly in the players' living environment.

If you walk through the cities and villages with open eyes, you will find examples of the living togetherness of people of different cultures, religions and social origins everywhere. Initiatives and projects can be found that work against exclusion and for sustainable and future-oriented urban development.

We have developed software that can be used to convey current educational topics in a playful way: equipped with the LTAB app, small groups explore the city via GPS, solve motivating tasks and collect points. The reality is connected with the digital experience - background information on the places where the players are is made interactively tangible and stimulates discussions or actions. The players' opinions are also queried and incorporated directly into the game.
Due to the physical exercise in the fresh air and the different challenges, dealing with a difficult topic is fun. In addition, media skills, communication and teamwork are also promoted.

Zeitwärts would like to support educational institutions with the playful preparation of teaching and learning content as well as with the development of a digital usage concept for their target groups. We rely on concepts of game, learning and media education as well as elements of gamification and game-based learning in order to develop mobile serious games from them.

But LTAB is also the measure of all things in the tourism sector: be it an interactive museum tour or an entertaining sightseeing tour. Practically every point in the city, whether inside or outside, can be recorded and assigned a task. Info points, task points, a digital wayfinding system - everything is possible. Objects can be provided with Bluetooth transmitters (iBeacons) and programmed as check-ins. Thus, sculptures, pictures or exhibits magically come to life when tasks or information spots open. In addition, through the integration of AR trackers, interactive and entertaining waypoints based on real images can be generated.
