Description

The "OPTY" Yacht Club Center and the seat of the club authorities are located at the Dziecikowice II reservoir in the Chełm Śląski Commune in the Bieruńsko-Lędziński Poviat with headquarters in Bieruń, voivodeship. Silesian.

The Yacht Club "OPTY" (formerly the Sailing Club "Huta Katowice") is one of the largest and the most active sailing club in Silesia.

The center is a base for active recreation and practicing various forms of recreation for over 200 members of the Club. The 750 ha water reservoir located 20 km from the center of Katowice creates perfect conditions for sailing regatta. Strong, evenly blowing winds prevail, which makes this reservoir also a great place for windsurfing.

In our center operates UKS SILESIA OPTY Association of Regatta Sailing, which trains "Optimists" children from 8-11 years old.
