Cardiovascular Surgery is the official organ of the Spanish Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery (SECTCV) and acts as a tool of expression of all Spanish-speaking thoracic and cardiovascular surgeons. The mission of the Spanish Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery is to ensure quality in the exercise of thoracic and cardiovascular surgeries through training, the promotion of research, the development and dissemination of standards and guidelines, and their influence on health policies at the national level.
