Description

Dr. Cruz earned her B.S. in Medical Technology in 1988. Before pursuing medical school, she spent a year teaching English in Bangkok, Thailand. In 1989, she embarked on her medical journey at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California. During her time there, she joined a student-staff physician team providing medical aid to communities along the Amazon River. After graduating in 1993, she completed her Internal Medicine Internship with the U.S. Navy at the Naval Hospital in Oakland, California.
