Tessera Legion de Maria

Description

The Legion of Mary tessera is a small sheet containing the prayers of the Legion of Mary and a miniature reproduction of the legionary painting. It is provided to all members, auxiliaries or active members of the Legion.

The tessera has the following characters:

- Circulates among all legionaries.
- Express the true password and legionary prayers.
- It is a pledge of union and brotherhood between partners, wherever they may be.

The tessera is divided into three parts:

1. Prayers at the beginning: these are the prayers with which the weekly meeting of the Legion begins, this includes the recitation of the Holy Rosary.
2. The Catena Legionis: It consists of an antiphon and the canticle of the virgin (according to Luke) and ends with a prayer.
3. The Final Prayers: It is a series of invocations to the Blessed Virgin and a prayer specific to the Legion with which all the weekly board meetings end.

The Tessera Legionis is a card awarded to members of the Legion of Mary. It is a symbol of your commitment to the Legion and its mission to evangelize and serve others.

The Tessera Legionis contains the prayers and hymn of the Legion, as well as the promise that members of the Legion make to dedicate their lives to Mary and to serve others.
