Description

About:
The Fake Power Off application convincingly simulates device shutdown using a subtle animation, effectively deterring unauthorised access without actually powering off the device. It may seamlessly be integrated with anti-theft apps and remains effective even when the device is locked.

Accessibility Service API Usage:
This app uses the Accessibility Service API to detect when the power menu is opened and to override it with a custom fake power menu. The Accessibility Service API is used solely for this purpose to provide the core functionality of the app. The app does not change user settings without permission, work around Android built-in privacy controls and notifications, or change the user interface in a deceptive manner. The app does not use the Accessibility Service API for remote call audio recording.

Open Source:
The app is open source, and the code is available on GitHub at https://github.com/BinitDOX/FakePowerOff. We ensure transparency and welcome users to review the code.
