My name is Kirsanova Valentina. I am a speech therapist for children and adults, the author of books and courses, and the creator of the “Zvukosauriki” speech therapy simulator. I have been in practical speech therapy for 10 years.

In an age when spaceships roam the expanses of the universe, and children are born with a gadget in their hand, you begin to think about how to combine speech therapy and gadgets. But this needs to be done in such a way that the child does not get stuck on the phone for hours, but develops harmoniously without any setbacks in different directions of his development.
That’s how the idea of ​​creating a speech therapy simulator “Zvukosauriki” came to my mind.

This application is used to automate sounds for children aged 3 years and older. When creating the simulator, I immediately decided:
1. The application should not be too bright and should not contain a lot of animation.
2. One lesson should not last more than 15 minutes.

Taking into account the specifics of working with children with speech disorders, my team and I received the following application:
• Quiet design that does not distract the child during class.
• One lesson is only 10 words to practice a specific sound.
• More than 1500 words to practice the correct pronunciation of sounds in words and phrases.
• The ability to choose the position of a sound in a word, which allows the child to more successfully automate the sound.
• Availability of game elements.
• Elements of motivation and expectation during exercise.
• Tracking the dynamics of classes.
• After the lesson, an adult and a child can take a photo with the result of the lesson and share it with the speech therapist, family and friends.
• The application is easily included in correctional work with children.
• A theoretical summary of sound automation will help parents effectively use the functionality of the application.
• Using the application, you can check the correct pronunciation of sounds in children. It happens that adults do not notice a violation of sound pronunciation in a child’s spoken speech.

Soundauruses were tested on a group of small and large users. The children were satisfied, and speech therapists included the application in their work.
