The weekly informative newspaper "Derventski list" in Derventa has been published for more than a hundred years, and it appears in front of readers every Thursday.
The public company "Derventski list and Radio Derventa" is the legal successor of the Information Center, which, until 1992, included Derventski list and Radio Derventa. The founder of the company is the Municipality of Derventa.
The first issue of "Derventski list", according to available information, was published on December 12, 1912 under the name "Derventski kotarski list", and under this name the newspaper was published until the end of the First World War. Between the two wars, several issues of newspapers based on the Derventa district newspaper were recorded, such as "Nasha smotra", "Bosanac" or the satirical newspaper "Burgija".
After the Second World War, Derventski list was renewed on November 29, 1952, but in 1959 the equipment, together with the members of the editorial board, was moved to Doboj, in order to publish a regional paper. However, at the end of 1966, Derventski list reappeared before the readers, and it was published without interruption until the beginning of the Defensive Patriotic War in 1992. A three-year break followed again, and the paper was re-launched on January 12, 1995, and since then it has appeared in front of readers every Thursday.
The content of the newspaper mainly consists of events, people and phenomena from the area of the municipality of Derventa, although attention is sometimes paid to people and events that do not have a direct connection with Derventa, and the newspaper also publishes advertisements, notices and advertisements.
Radio Derventa started broadcasting on November 29, 1972, and it functioned until the beginning of the Defensive Patriotic War. After a few months break, immediately after the vacancy of the company's headquarters, the radio station began broadcasting. The operation ceased in November 2001, after the Communications Regulatory Agency Radio Derventi revoked its broadcasting license.
