This app is a simple guide and quiz intended to help you become familiar with the most commonly used modal scales in jazz and classical music. The main diatonic scales are included. These are the Major, Harmonic Minor, Harmonic Major and Melodic Minor scales.
The quiz covers name recognition, scale degree identification, tonality of the scale, tone names and more. The quiz is not dependent on knowledge of any particular instrument.
Major Modes:

Harmonic Minor Modes:
