Description

Our collective celebrates living cultural heritage and oral histories. This is cultural heritage documentation by the people, for the people, open and accessible to all.

It's your heritage! Bring humanity closer together today and play your part in safeguarding your beautiful heritage for future generations.

Guided by heritage experts and communities, our pilot campaigns are live in South Sudan and Sudan. We are just getting started and will be launching new campaigns soon!

Select a campaign - Simply Trama+ campaign (Sudan) or Thagafatna (South Sudan) within the APP to join it's dedicated platform. Interested in everything? Just click 'global' and be the first to add your culture!

Explore and Share - Explore, share and celebrate cultural heritage (please note pilot campaigns are only live in Sudan and South Sudan).

Share your heritage - Post video, audio, and images, define and categorise your posts the way you (or your Granny!) thinks is right.

Far from home? Your post location is GPS tagged but you can also add a 'cultural location'. Toggle between the two on map view.

No network, no problem, our APP will store your posts until you get connected.

Report, Bookmark, Share - Save and share your favourite posts and report anything you think will cause harm. We take a zero-risk approach to hate speech.

In addition to the principles of decentralisation, Do No Harm, inclusivity, handing over control, and complementarity, we fully endorse and are continually guided by the UNESCO twelve ethical principles for safeguarding intangible cultural heritage (Decision 10.COM 15.a).

We are proud of what we've achieved so far - but already planning our improvements, such as adding social and story features, partnering with existing archives and community organisations on new campaigns, and - of course - making it easy for you to set up and manage campaigns and categorisation within the APP. If you like the project, would like to set up a campaign or have suggestions or lessons, please get in touch!
