There are currently 5 stores in Singapore that are conveniently located in popular heartlands in Tampines, Toa Payoh, Jurong, Ang Mo Kio, and Chinatown. In Malaysia, there are 9 stores. The first Cash Converters Malaysia store opened in 2001 at Taman SEA PJ. 8 stores are located in Klang Valley and 1 in Johor Bahru. Cash Converters offers an alternative to selling via classified adverts in newspapers, car boot sales, or over the Internet. The advantage is the immediacy of the process, as instant cash is paid once the price has been agreed upon.
