Description
The status of drivers will be working with CABLIR as independent contractors.
Cablir drivers use their own cars although drivers can rent or lease a car to drive with CABLIR in the near future. Cablir UK will offers car rental companies to have a partnership to provide leasing of electric cars to Cablir Drivers.
Drivers must meet requirements for age, health, car age and type, have a driver's license and a smartphone or tablet, and must pass a background check.
In many cities, vehicles used by Cablir drivers must pass annual safety inspections and/or must have an Cablir emblem posted in the passenger window.
Some cities also require Cablir drivers to have a business license.
A mechanism called "Real-Time ID Check" requires some drivers to occasionally take selfies when logging on to Cablir App
Drivers use an app to receive and accept offers for transportations and further information.
Our Backup operations team will be working on different issues to make sure that the Drivers and Riders will have ease working with us such as
1. Inadequate background checks and vetting of drivers
2. Crimes committed by drivers
3. Sexual harassment allegations and management shakeup
4. Misbehavior of Riders to the Drivers
