Description

The Safety Response (BTGSR) mobile app is developed by Bridging The Gap-Oregon in partnership with TriMet, the public transportation system serving the Portland Metro region.

This app is designed specifically for use by authorized TriMet employees to assist individuals who may be in distress or in need of help while using public transit or in surrounding areas.

The app enables team members to report, document, and coordinate outreach efforts in real-time, helping improve the safety and well-being of community members.

It supports timely decision-making and communication among field teams to ensure efficient response and follow-up.

The Safety Response app is a vital tool in TriMet’s ongoing mission to create a safer, more supportive environment for all riders and residents.
