Born on September 27 1994 in Blitar to KH. Kholid and Mrs. Hj. Lanratul Farida and is the last of four children. His father died when he was still a teenager. However, this did not stop him from studying in-depth religious knowledge.

After his father died, he turned to studying religion with his uncle, KH. Dliyauddin Azzamzami. Then continued studying at the Al-Falah Ploso Islamic Boarding School, Kediri. At the end of 2018, he founded the Sabilu Taubah Ta'lim Council, which at that time only had seven congregations. However, after a few years the ta'lim assembly became truly phenomenal. The congregation has even reached thousands.

Even though at the start of establishing the ta'lim assembly there were only seven congregations, Gus Iqdam was still enthusiastic about carrying it out. For him, the most important thing about reciting the Koran is the intention, not how many people there are in the congregation.
He deliberately gave the name Sabilu Taubah Council, which means the path of repentance. This is because the congregation does not only consist of devout people, Islamic boarding school alumni or people who are familiar with religious knowledge. However, there are also many congregants who are outsiders who don't even understand religion.
