Description
The FSL Buddy App is a companion app for people who are learning Filipino Sign Language (FSL).
This app allows you to browse or search for words and determine their equivalent FSL signs, which is suitable for students who are learning Filipino Sign Language.
You can either browse for categories, or search a specific word, and if it is available in the FSL Buddy dictionary, you will be able to see how it is signed. The FSL Buddy App shows both a front-view and a side-view of the signs, to help you see clearly how it is signed. You can also slow down the speed of the signs, and pause and repeat the sign videos anytime.
Lastly, signs are downloaded onto your mobile phone, allowing you to use the FSL Buddy App even without an internet connection (you will initially need an internet connection to download the words onto your device.)
Words included in FSL Buddy are mostly Filipino signs that are used in the Filipino Sign Language Learning Program Level 1 (FSLLP 1) that is currently being taught at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. The number of signs is being constantly updated and will be made available to users of this app.
