The Pocket Museum or the Gateway Gallery mobile app is a handy digital guide to museum visitors. Designed to make the museum experience seamless, satisfying and enriching, the Pocket Museum has the essential features that will enable the visitor understand and appreciate art, culture and history onsite or offsite. Designed primarily to host the SiningSaysay Augmented Reality, it will make the paintings come alive and retell the country's stories in sounds and moving pictures. It will also guide the user as he physically explore the galleries and exhibits. It also makes art more understandable and enjoyable with its weekly Museum Collection updates. Its Explore tab will complete the cultural experience as it provides listing of nearby art and cultural attractions. An added feature is its Share It button enabling user to share art that intrigued or inspired him or her. It also makes connecting to the museum easier, ensuring a more intimate relationship with the institution. In its next phase, users will be able to personalize the app and play with it. This will be a museum app to keep as it adds on to the quality of our cultural experience.
