Salmo 20

Description

1 May the Lord answer you in the time of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob protect you!
2 From the sanctuary send you help, and from Zion support you.
3 Remember all your offerings and accept your burnt offerings.
4 Grant you your heart's desire, and carry out all your plans.
5 We will greet your victory with shouts of joy and raise our banners in the name of our God. May the Lord answer all your requests!
6 Now I know that the Lord will give victory to his anointed; from his holy heavens answers him with the saving power of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
8 They waver and fall, but we rise and stand firm.
9 Lord, grant victory to the king! Answer us when we cry!
