Description

NeuCup is a sterile urine collection cup with test strip, which allows patients to send a picture through their smartphone and the NeuCup app to their healthcare professional while also collecting the sample in a sterile cup for further analysis if needed. NeuCup is a business to consumer product, which provides patients with an at-home option for urine sample analysis without the need to go to the clinic for a collection appointment. The patient can then follow-up with their healthcare provider through a tele-medicine appointment for diagnostic results and/or subsequent prescriptions or in person if necessary. The patient uses the kit to collect the sample and then sends a picture of the testing strip via their smartphone. If necessary, the sample can also be sent to the clinic for further testing.
