Sheikh Al-Zein Muhammad Ahmad Al-Zein was born in July 1982 in the village of Al-Bunya in Amruwaba locality, from the Sudanese state of North Kordofan. His relationship with the Qur’an began at an early age, as he joined the khilwa of Sheikh Al-Dardiri in the Kharsi area, which is 12 km from the locality of Umm Rawaba, after only four years. He graduated from primary school, i.e. at the age of ten, and obtained a leave of absence from the Sheikh of Al-Azhar reciters in September 2009.
Sheikh Muhammad Ahmad Al-Zein is considered an extension of many Sudanese voices that were adorned with the Holy Qur’an, such as Sheikh Awad Omar, Sheikh Siddiq Ahmed Hamdoun, and Sheikh Abdul Latif Al-Awad, may God have mercy on them.
