Safinatun Najah is a Fiqh book by Sheikh Salim bin Abdullah bin Saad bin Sumair Al Hadhrami, which contains the fundamentals of Islamic jurisprudence according to the Shafi'i school of thought. It contains several chapters, including Basic Aqidah, Thoharoh, Prayer, the Dead Body, Zakat, and Fasting. The original title of this book is Safinatun-Najah Fīma Yajibu ‘alā Abdi li Maulah, which means "The Boat of Safety in Learning the Obligations of a Servant to His Lord."

Matan Safinatun Najah and its translation summarize the laws of Islamic Fiqh concisely and use easy-to-understand language. Therefore, this Aqidah book is intended for beginners who want to learn about Islamic jurisprudence, including students at the Ula' (Ibtidaiyah) level in Islamic boarding schools.

Safinatun Najah is indeed concise, but it covers a wide range of fundamentals of Aqidah and Fiqh. And those who master it can be said to have grasped the basic concepts of Islamic Sharia or the Basics of Islamic Law.
