Description
The vital signs application demonstrates the capabilities of vital sign optical sensors from ams-OSRAM.
It is a BLE-enabled app which connects to ams-OSRAM AS705X-based demonstrators and displays the real-time reading for heart rate monitoring (HRM), SpO2 monitoring, EDA(Electrodermal Activity) & ECG/PPG raw data logging.
Heart Rate Monitoring/Recording: This application provides a real-time HRM plot for ams demonstrators and any reference HRM device broadcasting standard HRM BLE services.
In the HRM view, the user can monitor the plot and record the heart rate results for further analysis.
SpO2 Monitoring: Blood oxygen saturation level (SpO2) measures the amount of oxygen carried in the haemoglobin. SpO2 is expressed as a percentage of the maximum amount of oxygen that haemoglobin in the blood can carry. In this view, the application allows the user to measure and display the pulse rate while measuring the SpO2 levels.
GSR Monitoring: This sub-application displays the user's real-time Galvanic skin resistance (GST)values and line plot over time.
Raw Data Monitoring: The user may load a custom configuration in this view. The user can visualize and record the real-time raw data broadcasted from the demonstrator.
By default, the application will load a PPG and ECG recording configuration.
Note: This application is not for medical use.
