The GeoHistoryTrail-Goesting app is an environmental education medium which combines nature and technology and brings it into a value for each user. Information about the Gösting castle ruins can be accessed through the app easily, be it information from the historical, geographical or geological area. In addition, the location detection provides the ability to be guided in real time from station to station.

A special extra is the ability to share voice recordings, notes and information about Facebook. Especially school groups use this opportunity to develop different types of content alone, to bring them together later "online" together.
