Kolams are curved or straight lines drawn connecting a maze of dots. They usually have rich inheritable patterns which are being used for several studies. Kolams are drawn during dawn by women in front of houses. They are drawn by using rice flour some times also using colored powders. they are drawn in many asian countries predominantly in India.
