М-104. Ярославский комсомолец

Description

The submarine M-104 "Yaroslavl Komsomolets" is the first Russian submarine to receive its own name. The boat was built with funds (5.8 million rubles) collected by Komsomol members of the Yaroslavl region.
In the years 1943-44, in the Barents Sea, the boat made 6 military campaigns. Enemy transports were sunk or damaged with a total displacement of up to 30,000 tons.
