This book is a guide for Class VIII Craft teachers. In the book there are six units which are the development of elements, learning outcomes and learning objectives for students in Phase D (in this book specifically for class VIII). This book contains material that will be used in learning activities for one year.

These materials are divided into theory and practical. In practicum activities, there are several practicum options that teachers can choose and adapt to the conditions and potential in the school environment. Teachers are given the widest possible opportunity to recreate techniques, tools or materials that will be used during learning activities, with the aim of learning Crafts to be independent and still uphold the potential that exists in each region.

Even though they are allowed to develop their activities, teachers cannot change the Learning Outcomes provided. Thus, the development carried out by teachers in learning activities continues to make Learning Achievements the main basis of activities.

In the Merdeka Curriculum, craft learning is facilitated with a teacher's guidebook, but there are no books for students. This is done with the consideration that craft learning can be implemented directly by teachers with students. Thus, it is hoped that the materials provided in this book can be well understood by teachers and can be implemented to best suit the needs of students in each school.

To support the material provided, this book is equipped with supporting illustrations on the stages of making craft products from organic and inorganic waste. Through the material provided and the learning steps contained in this book, the author hopes that this Class VIII Crafts learning activity will be a fun learning activity.
