Description

Surah Mudassir is a Meccan Surah with 56 verses and means "the cloaked one". It was the second surah revealed to the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) according to many well-known authors' chronologies. The Surah expands over a range of themes. The first thematic section of Surah Mudassir is an injunction for self-preparedness, the second is a warning for the disbelievers- explaining the wrath of Allah and the punishment they'll receive for their heinous sins, the third section uses the accessible physical world as proof that the wreckage and desolation that awaits the unbelievers will be equally real and finally, the last section instructs the mankind to fear and glorify Allah.
Surah Mudassir has many benefits :
• According to Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (a.s), the person who recites this surah in his compulsory prayers will attain a rank near the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) in the afterlife and will be protected from the misfortunes in this world.
• If you make a dua after regular recitation of this Sura, then that dua will be answered, and the need will be fulfilled.
• If someone makes a dua, wishing to memorize the whole Quran, then he will not die until he has memorized it with the help of Allah.
