Description

StarBuddies: A Duck And Herbert Love Story, is a story based, 2D, pixel game, that follows the protagonist Herbert, a pale blue pig with an eyepatch, as he finds love with a Duck named Duck. In this love story Herbert is faced with challenges to get to, and stay with, his love.

It's an art based game with no dialogue, which leaves it up to the player to try and piece together the story from hand drawn cutscenes.

It's simple enough even non gamers can beat it, but it's also an engaging and cute story that anyone gamer and non gamer alike can enjoy.

This game includes:

- 4 hand drawn playble scenes

- 4 hand drawn cutscenes

- a hand drawn main menu with falling stars that spawn in randomly and can fill the entire screen if given the time.

- hand drawn panels and buttons for the user interface

- end credits scene with photos of the original Duck and Herbert

- 3 different forms of gameplay over the 4 playable scenes

- original music and some original sound effects



It's a fully original game with everything in it having been made by the creator or friends, apart from a few sound effects from the free use site mixkit. (Respawn sound, raindrop sounds, button sounds)
