Torre Guevara Experience

Description

The Torre Guevara Experience app accompanies the user along a tourist route that winds through the streets of the historic center of Potenza: thirty points of interest, including churches, historic buildings, squares, monuments, historic gates and, finally, the Torre Guevara , an ancient monument from which the application takes its name. The project to enhance Piazza Guevara was built right around the tower which includes, in addition to the interactive map, the use of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality viewers on site.
The application contains an interactive map which, by georeferencing the user, allows him to explore the city. The user's position, through GPS activation, is identified on the map through a marker, which allows him to easily understand where he is in relation to the sites of main interest. Through the map, by clicking on the point of interest, the user can take advantage of the textual contents or by walking along the streets of the historic center, in correspondence with the sites, the application itself will inform the user of the presence of the places of interest.
