Description

WiFi Heatmap Simulator helps you to measure, predict and analyze a WiFi network's coverage and performance.
Measured and simulated coverage data is shown in an intuitive user interface.
Clearly visualize the expected WiFi coverage in a simulated RSSI Heatmap, to analyze & plan changes, improve performance & resolve issues.
Design a WiFi network and calculate an expected performance and coverage heatmap from an existing floorplan image, with walls and access point properties considered in calculations.

Features
- Supporting 2.4 & 5GHz WiFi. 6GHz WiFi support coming soon
- Plan a network based on a floorplan image.
- Predict and/ or measure network performance & coverage based on walls and access point properties.
- Measure a WiFi connection's signal strength, speed, other properties, interferers, etc.
- Find all other WiFi networks that are operating in your area.
- Analyze WiFi Channel usage to learn which channels are free and which are crowded with other interfering networks & users.

Steps to predict WiFi coverage:
1. Select to predict WiFi coverage
2. Select your floorplan image
3. Set the plan area size, or select to edlt > adjust size from locations.
4. Move the markers and enter the distance between them.
5. Add the walls based on the floorplan image.
6. Add an access point, and wait for the calculation result.
7. Consider changing the detail level to get a higher resolution predicted heatmap as needed. Note that higher detail prediction takes longer to calculate.
8. Move the access points as needed.
9. Save the network plan for later, or to share with colleagues.

Steps to analyze WiFi networks - Select to view:
- the current connection
- the available WiFi channels
- the visible WiFi networks

Coming soon:
* Supporting 6GHz WiFi
* Importing & exporting different file types
* Cloud support
