Description

The SFGV promotes family garden movement in Switzerland and develops them further.

This purpose will be achieved by:

- Concentration of as many family gardeners and their organizations.
- Safeguarding and representing the interests of all members towards public authorities, legal entities and individuals. Specifically, the members should be supported in case of problems for the preservation and / or creation of family garden areas.

- Promote the professional development of the members in sections, clubs and regions.
- Support measures to protect natural habitats for humans, animals and plants.
- Promoting natural gardening.
- Active public relations and advertising for the family garden movement.
- Publication of the association magazine "Garden Friend" / "Jardin familial" and operation of a website.
- Maintain relationships with similar purposes pursued organizations at home and abroad. The SFGV is a member of Office International du Coin de Terre et des Jardins Familiaux (International Kleingärtner Association) and other organizations close to us.
