About ABP
Founded on August 13, 1966, in Rio de Janeiro, the Brazilian Psychiatry Association (ABP) has more than 50 years of activity and a history of struggles and achievements in favor of psychiatry in Brazil. Dedicated to the scientific, public and social development of the medical specialty that deals with mental illnesses, ABP has centers in all Brazilian states and several specialized departments.
