WHO WE ARE

⚫ We are a Christian Church
Because we have Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and we have the Old and New Testament Sacred Scriptures as the sole and infallible rule of faith and practice.

⚫ Reformed
Because we have our historical roots in the Protestant Reformation of the 16th Century, led by Matinho Lutero.

⚫ Calvinist
Because our doctrinal and liturgical tradition is linked to the French reformer John Calvin (1509-1564), a brilliant intellectual and serious biblical scholar, who deepened Luther's reform.

⚫ Presbyterian
Because we adopt the form of centralized government in councils that are made up of elders. The Presbyterian system of government is representative. The people govern through representatives, chosen in assembly for this purpose.

⚫ Brazilian
Because the Independent Presbyterian Church of Brazil was founded by a group of nationalist pastors and elders on July 31, 1903, led by Rev. Eduardo Carlos Pereira. On February 27, 1944, the Independent Presbyterian Church of Fernandópolis / SP was organized, having Rev. Silas Dias as its first pastor.

Our mission is to worship and glorify God, in the power of the Holy Spirit, to proclaim the Gospel of Christ, to promote his Kingdom, the teaching and practice of the Sacred Scriptures, the improvement of the Christian life and the human condition (art. 3 - CIPIB )
