Description

Biocode: Vital information that saves lives.

Biocode is a free app created by a Brazilian NGO to protect lives in emergency situations by providing fast, secure, and ethical access to important medical information.

With Biocode, you can store and manage:
- Medical conditions (such as diabetes, hypertension, allergies)
- Medication, vaccination, and surgery use
- Personal data and emergency contacts
- Approximate location and useful information in case of accidents

This information is linked to a unique code, the Biocode, which can be read via QR Code or NFC on bracelets, cards, or key fobs. In an emergency, first responders, doctors, nurses, and authorized professionals can access the authorized data, even if the person is unconscious.

🔐 Complete Privacy Control
Each record can be:
- Public, visible to anyone who scans your Biocode
- Restricted, accessible only to doctors, first responders, or authorized profiles
- Invisible, saved only for your personal control

Data is protected according to the LGPD (General Data Protection Law), and you can revoke access or update information at any time.

🧬 Registration of family members and even pets
You can manage profiles of people under your care (children, seniors, dependents) and even record basic information about pets.

🤝 Sponsored by those who care
Each registration is linked free of charge to an institutional sponsor (NGOs, companies, or institutions supporting the project). No personal or medical data is shared with the sponsor—only anonymous statistics to measure social impact.

📊 Also useful for public policy and research
Aggregated and anonymized data helps build a clearer picture of the population's health, supporting social, academic, and public health projects.

Biocode does not replace professional medical care. It is a support tool, created with ethics, technology, and purpose.
