The mission of the higher school is:
• To prepare highly qualified specialists with higher education in the field of economics, equaling the best educational models and practices in the countries of Europe and the world and applying modern methods of theoretical and practical preparation of students and their adaptation in practice;
• Develop economic and financial science in line with the needs of modern practice and increase its competitiveness by prioritizing innovation research and collaborative research with leading universities and research institutes in Europe and the world to help shape the economic and financial policies of Bulgaria and the European Union.

The main strategic objective of the higher education institution is to ensure high quality of the activities carried out in it and to guarantee the establishment of high morality in the students, teachers and employees of the school. In order to achieve this goal, the higher education institution has set specific strategic objectives and tasks for the development of the educational activity, the research activities, the technical and information base and the personnel support.
