Description

The dose to be applied varies with each patient and their anatomical characteristics with the body part to be mapped. The pharmacist, responsible for preparing the doses with the correct volume to be applied in each patient, calculates this volume relating the initial calibration data sent by the manufacturer and the half-life of the drug with the instant that the images should be obtained.
In DosePet application, are inserted radiopharmaceutical calibration data and patient data. From this information, the application calculates the volume to be delivered in each patient, and to inform the other activity unused at any chosen time.
The application can perform calculations to 18F, 131 or Tc, and also allows you to delete or replace any patient or reissue any data - which are important steps in planning the daily routine of the lab and enabling the use of the radiopharmaceutical even in situations such as lack of any patient.
