Description

Air is necessary for all aerobic organisms, all animals need to breathe, and it has a close relationship with humans. In recent years, the issue of PM2.5 and air pollution has always been an important topic of public concern.
Problem: Air pollution refers to the pollution of the atmosphere caused by substances that are harmful to human health and the surrounding environment. These substances may be gas, solid or liquid suspended matter. The greatest impact on human health is fine suspended particulates (PM2.5). The higher the average concentration of PM2.5 in the air, the higher the relative risk of lung cancer, stroke, ischemic heart disease, and chronic lung disease. According to the monitoring data of the Environmental Protection Agency, the average concentration of PM2.5 in Taiwan is more than twice the WHO standard. The purpose of this research is to use the information provided by the Environmental Resource Information Open Platform of the Environmental Protection Agency of the Executive Yuan to understand the air pollution situation in various parts of Taiwan and analyze various data. Method: The data source is the air quality monitoring network of the "Environmental Resources Data Open Platform of the Environmental Protection Agency of the Executive Yuan". Various air quality indicators (AQI) provided by observing stations set up in various places, such as fine suspended particles PM2.5, suspended particles PM10, Ozone O3, carbon monoxide CO and other data. Conclusion: This special topic development APP will provide users with the ability to check weather forecasts and air quality in various parts of the journey for reference.
