Description

Grupo Lazer, Esporte, Mídia e Meio Ambiente — LEMMA, was created in 2013, with the purpose of deepening studies and research in the following lines:

​

1 — Education, Leisure, Environment and Sustainability;

​

2 — Media, Sport and Leisure;

​

3 — Sociology of sport and leisure.

​

In these 6 (six) years, the group has been dedicated to focusing debates on issues of the environment, sociology and media related to the fields of sport and leisure.

Currently, the group is composed of 4 (four) professors and 5 (five) students and 1 (one) technician from the Physical Education Course, from the Education Department of Campus II — Alagoinhas, from the State University of Bahia — UNEB. In addition to research in these segments, the group articulates the mother project “Connections, Interactives of Knowledge — CIC”, which brought together several teaching, extension and research actions, such as: TV 18, Art & Science, Physical Education Arts Exhibition — MAEF, Alagoinhas Champions — ALACHAMPIONS, Interactive Body Games — JOCORINTER, Meeting of Aquatic Practices — EPAQ, Observatory and Documentation Center of Physical Education — OBCDEF and Meeting of Graduates of Physical Education — ENEGEF. All of them have the objective of expanding and qualifying the training of the academics of the course. The group also articulates with other institutions inside and outside the university, with the purpose of building knowledge networks that can contribute to the growth of knowledge. For 2020 and 2021, a series of actions are already planned for these projects, which are already part of the course and university calendar.
