Girls in Technology is a nonprofit organization that seeks to close the gender gap in technology encouraging, motivating and training the next generation of innovative and enterprising women.

 

We work for teens consider technology as an ally to fulfill different purposes that impact their realities and communities.


This app was made by Girls in Technology for use by the various programs and initiatives of the Organization. The aim is to publicize the great stories of different women who made history in science and technology and thus more visible and promote female roles models.

How does it work?

Shaking the phone can be accessed randomly at different illustrations of these women, and by touching the image can know their life stories. The application was created entirely in MIT AppInventor, platform used in the programs of Girls in Technology.
