Star Sky shows in an instant what the sky can be seen with the naked eye, binoculars or a small telescope. The app is designed for observers in the Netherlands and Belgium, and is therefore in Dutch / Flemish made.

The app shows the events in the sky, among others, in the form of an astrological calendar, the tab "Tonight in the sky" to re-read Sun, Moon, planets and deep sky objects, a sky chart, moon phase calendar, observing weather and more.

Star Sky is the app hemel.waarnemen.com and like the website is the app for free and without advertising. The content consists of a selection of the most important web pages hemel.waarnemen.com optimized for the screen size of the phone. For a tablet, the use of a web browser to be preferable.

Upon installation, it is mentioned that the app Phone Call (Phone calls) used. This is standard and just means that the app is interrupted when eg an incoming phone call.
