The area covers two local self-government units in the Krapina-Zagorje County: the Municipality of Krapinske Toplice and the City of Pregrada. According to the 2011 census, there were 11,961 inhabitants in 3,903 households.
The aim of the project is to inform 100% of the inhabitants of the Municipality of Krapinske Toplice and the City of Pregrada on the methods of waste management that lead to the reduction of the amount of waste disposed at landfills through 5 compulsory and 7 recommended educational and information activities. In addition to educational activities, the project includes publicity and visibility activities and project management. Citizens will apply the acquired knowledge in changing their daily habits and will adopt the importance of responsible waste management in terms of sustainable development of their local environments.
The project is co-financed by the European Union from the Cohesion Fund.
The content of the mobile application is the sole responsibility of the Municipality of Krapinske Toplice.
