Description

BariCare is a mobile app that allows the patient undergoing bariatric surgery to be constantly followed in the care path through an AI program for self-monitoring of the progress obtained and periodic administration of surveys.
The app also offers a series of tools for the daily activities of the patient who finds himself facing change:
‣ Self-monitoring of weight trends and one's eating habits
‣ Reception of specific diet
‣ Timer for managing the correct duration of meals
‣ Reminder for taking the multivitamin supplement
‣ Food shopping aid tool
‣ Access to the network of specialized SICOB centers for emergencies based on geolocation

BariCare will make it possible to maintain the close follow-up necessary to improve the outcomes of patients suffering from severe obesity undergoing bariatric surgery from a medical, nutritional and psychological point of view.
