Description

Yachtpoint can operate in two modes:
• ad hoc, creating a WiFi network to which you can connect your device on which to receive the tools
• infrastructure, entering the network name and password to connect

In both cases Yachtpoint creates a TCP / IP server to which you connect remote devices to view information about on-board instruments.

On devices just install software for receiving NMEA strings (such as iRegatta or Yachtpoint Display) on which to set the information panels.

Connection:
For connecting Yachtpoint simply connect the 12V power supply and locate the line of NMEA signals or SeaTalk instruments.

SeaTalk or NMEA 0183 input
The device can be connected either to the entire native instrumentation 0183 (such as B & G ...) or the Raymarine instrumentation, which uses the SeaTalk protocol.
The configuration of the device varies with use needs to be done.
Set the jumpers in the right configuration.
