Description

This app was created as a scientific tool to encourage data collection. Species distribution maps can be viewed (at the QDGC level) and species list can be generated for QDGCs and DS. It can be used to identify gaps in distribution data and is useful resource to professional and amateur herpetologists in the field (with no signal/internet). Data from the various sources were used in this app (with permission where necessary) including museum, citizen science platforms and literature records. The data used in this app is typically updated on an annual basis. There are mapping errors. I do not make any corrections to the data apart from consolidating taxonomy to the species level. Please do help by making corrections at the source of the data. You can try contact the institutions directly or send the corrections to me via email.
